Grant Shapps gets defence job in mini reshuffle: Rishi Sunak has promoted cabinet veteran Grant Shapps to the role of defence secretary in a mini reshuffle of his top team. Mr Shapps, who has held five ecclesiastical positions in the previous year, replaces Ben Wallace, who is leaving governmental issues at the following political decision. His arrangement was not generally expected yet he is viewed as protected sets of hands and a compelling communicator. Sunak partner Claire Coutinho replaces him as energy secretary.
