Spain vs Netherlands 2-1: Women’s World Cup 2023 – as it happened

These were the updates from the Spain vs Netherlands quarter-final match in the Women’s World Cup on August 11, 2023.

Spain took on the 2019 runners-up the Netherlands and scored a victory to earn a place in the Women’s World Cup semi-finals.

Spain booked their quarter-final spot with a 5-1 thumping of Switzerland, while the Netherlands reached the last eight by beating South Africa 2-0.

Spain will now face either Japan or Sweden in the semi-final on Tuesday in Auckland.
